I visited Martial Vivot Downtown for the first time this past weekend. I read great reviews about the salon, and I was in need of a good haircut. I booked with Emmanuel. Upon arrival at the salon, the woman at the front desk greeted me with a great warmth and energy. She took me to Emmanuel's station, where I met my hair stylist. Emmanuel was fantastic! So kind, friendly, an attentive listener. He asked questions about what I was looking for in my hair, to help understand my vision for my hair. He asked great questions, and confirmed understanding of what I was looking for. Emmanuel cut my hair with great attention to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him, our conversation, and I immediately felt at ease, knowing I was in good hands. I love the outcome of my haircut. My experience with Emmanuel and the woman at the front desk was fantastic! Aside from the emotions of the experience, the salon is gorgeous! I would encourage any man looking for a great haircut to check out both Emmanuel, and this salon! I look forward to my next haircut at Martial Vivot, with Emmanuel!

My go-to at this salon is Jackson, who not only is an amazing stylist but also who likes to go out of his way to perfect the cut. I’ve gotten 3 cuts from him and all of them have turned out amazing. His attention to detail is really high and he’s always willing to learn from those around him. Usually I go and show him photos of the cut I’d like and he’s transparent about what’d work and what wouldn’t. He’s super meticulous about every strand and likes to spend time making sure you’re also aligned on how to style your hair when you don’t have an expert styling it. No matter what kind of hair you have, I’d highly recommend Jackson!

I felt very welcomed. There’s a good feeling when you walk into the salon. Jerome cut my hair and he was excellent. I’m extremely happy with the cut and this is now my new hair salon. Also, he is a really good guy and we had a nice chat. The person who washed my hair was great too and gave a good scalp massage. I had a classic shave and loved that too.

Chris gave me the most stellar haircut I have ever received in my life! He is so kind, attentive, and genuinely an amazing hair stylist. I would recommend him to any man. I have particularly straight hair that is difficult to manage and he was so attentive and caring! The salon is also incredible, the vibes are great and all of the staff are so kind and supportive! 10 out of 10 go asap for a haircut!
